@nime-club.com (Part 1)

Are you an anime fan? Areal, honest fan? Well, as for me, anime is a never ending story. I am going crazy over animes and I have magazines about them. Even my bond of friends also go crazy over them and take note, we just don't go crazy over animes but also over their characters. Yet, we are often dubbed as 'real anime addicts'. When we have time, we have sessions and every sessions we have anime review off course. When someone discovers other anime, we will think of ideas on how to get a copy of that anime. When the group session ends we go to our respective chairs but continue murmuring about anime or talk n pairs, in triples or in quadruples. We have the list anime characters from the first five most wonderful guy characters up to the least. We can even name the oldest and the latest anime with you. We are much updated with that, no problem! You ca scan our notebooks so that you will see them all dawn with anime characters. You can also have our brains x-rayed to know what animes are on our brain. No worry for the doctor because I had my brain examined first and these are the exchanged words.

Josephine: Bleach, doc.

Doctor: Check.

Josephine: Ouran.

Doctor: Check.

Josephine: Naruto.

Doctor: Check.

Josephine: Something is missing, doc?

Doctor: Everything is under control. Ah! I mean.
Everything is inside your brain. Animes are fully loaded in it.

As what I have wrote, my friends are also crazy over anime. You can look at the blog entries of Allana, Grechelle and Gilphanie bearing the titles 'I Love Anime!' and 'Anime Craze' and you'll see that we can't live without Anime. Speaking O anime craze' here's an addition: if there's S.O.P Mania, then we have our own 'Anime Mania'. If you have collections of pictures of your favorite actress or actors, then we have our notebooks filled with drawings about anime, whether it's bad or good to look at.

Do you know why we are that so addicted to animes? It is because, 'ANIME ROCKS!'. I would prefer watching anime all-day long than watching Filipino movies, telenovelas or any other -novela thing they have. I could enumerate five reasons why and they are: 1) anime characters are cooler, more attractive and more beautiful than the characters in Bakekang or in other telenovela; 2) even if anime series are sometimes so magical and impossible to happen in real life, drama series are more boring and tiresome to watch than anime; 3) every anime series is a much awaited series because they delivers different thrill and story while almost, almost all drama series have the same topic all over again, from the oldies to the latest Koreanovela, and the only topic is love; 4) in anime, when they have special effects like the ray gun of Yuyu Hakuso (Eugene of Ghost Fighter) they are more pleasant to the eyes than he special effects you see on dramas; and, 5) because anime appeals to me more than with telenovelas. I'm so sorry with those people who are telenovela addicts. I think, you don't have to worry anything about these comments of mine on telenovelas because these are only comments and comments are mere remarks. But when you're broken hearted with these, then maybe they are true.

MS. BEAN

If you might think that the only Bean in this world is Mr. Bean, then let me be the one to introduce to you the first ever living Bean woman, MS. BEAN. You may not know her well but when you have a chance to be with her all-day long, you won't regret it except that you will end up holding your stomach because of so much fun and enjoyment.

Only in 2004, when I was a 1st year high school student, had I met her. We were classmates then but made only few conversations because we were not that close with each other. I had no notice of her being a person with high spirit and sense of humor but a person who is very serious.

Now, I have notice the true her. We are still classmates and that we have now a great time to spend the whole day giggling, talking and laughing with all our might until we vend up holding our own stomach, as what I have just expected. There are times that I just can't stop, can't keep on laughing. You know why? If the best asset of Mr. Bean is his strange voice, Ms. Bean's best asset is her laughter. Upon hearing her first laughter, I was stunned and burst into more laughter. It was the strangest yet ridiculous laughter that I've never heard before. She told me that she's trying to get rid of it and have a new one because it's funny, she said but she can't. I told her that it's alright, and that I encouraged her by saying, "The more you laugh, the funnier it would be." But even though I am now immune with it, let me tell you that I couldn't sleep at night without reminiscing the time she laughed and she did it. I couldn't help on smiling whenever I am doing this because I feel great and proud that I befriended Ms. Bean.

Just like Mr. Bean, my little (as I described her because she's short) yet beautiful friend Ms. Bean is always in trouble. On one instance, when we were practicing Florante at Laura, she proved her carelessness by carelessly stepping on one, not, two of the bottles we had prepared for the music. Obviously, they were broken. We were terrified by the loud banging of the bottles unto the floor but when I looked at her, she sai9d with laughter on her eyes and smile on her face, "Sorry!" and laughed. We were all laughing then and there was more laughter when she laughed. There are still many funny experiences of her to be told. One of these is when her laughter became the reason why our teacher chose her and asked her something. It happened to be that her motto's 'Laughter is the best medicine' because after answering, she laughed again.

I will not make this so lengthy that I'll manage to tell you all my accounts with her. Oh! I'm so sorry. I enjoyed so much letting you know my friend Ms. Bean that I haven't told you her name. Well, she's Allana Mae D. Muñoz of II- Palma. She's a member of TauGama, not the fraternity kind but the one she herself had established, the "Taung Gagmay" Group.
